Conservation framing
Archival materials and techniques that protect the work for decades, the same standard we use on every Bateman that leaves the shop.
Custom mouldings
Quiet black profiles, warm woods, and gold filets chosen to serve the piece, not overpower it. Corners joined by hand in Mississauga.
Archival mats & mounting
Acid-free mats cut in-house, sized so the art can breathe. Multiple layers when the composition asks for more depth.
UV / museum glass
Glazing that filters ultraviolet light and cuts glare, matched to the room where the piece will live.
Mouldings finished by hand
From quiet black profiles with a gold filet to richer wood and gilt finishes, every corner is joined in-house. Nothing is sent halfway out to a wholesaler and shipped back unfinished.

Bring it in
Walk in with the piece, or order one from us and we'll have it ready to frame the day it arrives. Prints, originals, photographs and heirlooms all welcome.

We'll sit down together and go through mat colours, moulding profiles and glazing options until something looks right, not just matches a catalogue.
We build it by hand
Every mat is cut and every corner joined in our own shop. Nothing gets sent out to a wholesaler partway through.
